Building relationships that last beyond the transaction

Melissa Zerbarini

As a born and raised KY girl, I learned that hard work and honesty pays off.

After obtaining an A.S. in Drafting and Design Technology from Kentucky State Univ, I moved to FL.

While in FL I was a live broadcast sales producer. From that, I learned how to market a product, such as your home, in it's most visually appealing light to capture your buyer's attention right from the start.

I then returned to school at the Univ of South FL where I earned a B.A. in Humanities.

After starting a family, I was ready for a new career and that is when I became a Realtor.

I have a variety of real estate experience including: leases, investment purchases, commercial and of course, working with buyers and sellers in the residential market.

I relocated just north of Asheville to be closer to family and I love it here!

My suggestions to sellers: Prepare for what you can in advance. Show it well. Show it to the world. And price it right the first time to make the most of your first impression. Never just "throw it out there and see what happens". I only take the listings that I am confident I can move.

My suggestions to buyers: Do your homework and be ready to move forward at the moment we find "IT". Don't shoot for the moon and offend the seller right off the bat. Be reasonable and think how you would feel in the seller's shoes at the moment they read your offer. Set your limit before you start negotiating. Write it down. And be willing to walk away so you don't have buyer's regret.

My goal is not only to prepare my buyers and sellers and walk them through the real estate transaction, but to also have my clients truly happy with the outcome so they will not hesitate to recommend me to their friends and family.
