I like to say I’m a rare breed of local! Growing up in Candler, I am native to Western North Carolina. I spent 5 years in Fort Hood, Texas, before moving back home in 2009 so that my son could be raised around family. I found that “home” had changed in those 5 years and that’s one of the things I love about the area. My “small town” home is now a thriving destination which is constantly evolving. You are never more than 30 minutes from a great downtown experience, an incredible hike or some sort of water to splash around in. I am married with two sons and can usually be found at a baseball field or at Tae Kwon Do Dojang cheering on my favorite athletes.
In 2017, my family started looking for our first home and the search took us all over WNC. We ultimately made the decision to build our dream home in the Edneyville area. One of my requirements for the new house was a covered deck so I could sit and drink coffee with a book and that is by far my favorite feature.
My experience searching for a home is what let me to a career in real estate. I was intrigued by the process and the research that was necessary for each home or piece of land that we considered purchasing. Being from the area, I am familiar with different neighborhoods and amenities and will use that knowledge to assist my clients with their home search. Buying or selling a home is quite the undertaking! It’s exciting, it’s terrifying, it’s stressful, and it’s exhilarating! My mission is to use my desire to help others to take the weight of my clients and make the experience as enjoyable as possible!
