Lake Julian Festival of Lights – Lake Julian Park, Overlook Road Ext., Arden, NC 28704
The park becomes brightly lit with 50 animated and stationary light displays. The drives through the park are spectacular and we invite you to take part in our 12th annual festival of lights. You will be so glad you did!

The downtown playhouse has a classic nativity story with both traditional and modern music, including powerful singers with an orchestra and live band playing and singing the beautiful music of Christmas for everyone to enjoy.

The Polar Express Great Smoky Railroad – 226 Everett Street, Bryson City, NC 28713
We hope to see you on the polar express on the great smoky mountains railroad which has a fabulous one and one fourth hour round-trip journey from Bryson City Depot and a special visit at the North Pole. Listen to the music of the motion picture while sipping a warm cup of hot chocolate.

You will not want to miss the National Gingerbread House Competition hosted in partnership with The Omni Grove Park Inn. We have a winter wonderland full of the holiday spirit and décor to match the spirit of Christmas.

30th Annual Candlelight Evenings at the Biltmore – One Lodge Street, Asheville, NC 28803
Talk about entertainment – every night at dusk we accent Biltmore’s wonderful holiday decor with live entertainment and holiday spirit with Christmas carols and ensembles and even a candlelight or two of Biltmore House. Candlelight Christmas evenings are by reservation only so get your tickets early. How gorgeous!

39th Annual Christmas at Biltmore – One Lodge Street, Asheville, NC 28803
And, you think you have seen it all- wait till you see the Biltmore house in regal yuletide celebration, reminiscing the opening of Biltmore House by George Vanderbilt in 1895. You talk about Christmas trees, lights and holiday ornaments you are in for a treat in a winter wonderland display.
